22, 23 and 24th of 2000 Dr. DuPree participates in
the “Avon Breast Cancer Three Day” in Atlanta,
Georgia. The event consisted of a 60 mile walk over
three days. The net proceeds of 5 Million Dollars went
directly to breast cancer basic science research.
August
2000 - Dr. DuPree is the keynote speaker for the "Horizon
of Hope Breast Cancer Tea." She
is also the keynote speaker for the opening of the
Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Exhibit “67
Women 67 Counties.”
June
2000 - Dr. DuPree is honored the keynote speaker
at the Lower Bucks County "Relay for Life."
March
23, 2000 - Dr. DuPree is 1 of 3 Bucks County women
to be honored by the Lower Bucks Chapter of The American
Red Cross. She is given the 2000 Clara Barton Humanitarian
Award for her on-going contributions to the treatment
of breast cancer and educating women about treatment
options.
